The Independence Patriots prevailed the visiting Garinger Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. Independence will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.
The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Charlotte Catholic gained a win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
