The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) and the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI), saw Monroe's volleyball squad beat Lincoln by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Saline (Saline, MI) to play the Hornets in a bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-0.

The Railsplitters now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Huron for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30.
