Ohio High School Soccer - Coventry knocks off Washington

Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Comets face the Streetsboro Rockets (Streetsboro, OH) in a Metro Athletic challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Coventry will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 7-1 league win over Springfield (Akron, OH).
The Tigers now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Louisville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Washington will face a Leopards team coming off a 0-0 non-league Green (Uniontown, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 8-2.
