The Oxford Wolverines smashed the host Crosby Bulldogs soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Thursday's league match.
The Wolverines now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brookfield for a non-league match on Saturday, September 30. Oxford will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-0.
