Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Martinsburg will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV).

The Trojans now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington for a Eastern Panhandle challenge on Saturday, September 30. Hampshire will confront a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-0.
