The New Bern Bears smashed the visiting South Central Falcons soccer squad by a margin of 7-1 in Thursday's league match.
The Bears now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Havelock for a Big East 3A/4A match on Tuesday, October 3. New Bern will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-10.
With the loss, South Central drops to 3-8 on the season. The Falcons travel to Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to encounter the Monarchs in a Big East 3A/4A match on Tuesday, October 3.
