In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Poplar Bluff Mules soccer squad scored a close 5-1 win over the West Plains Zizzers.
The Mules (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record.
The Zizzers (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Kickapoo (Springfield, MO). The Chiefs go into the Ozarks battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Kickapoo nipped Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, MO), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
