Colorado High School Softball - Conifer bounces Standley Lake

The Conifer Lobos (Conifer, CO) softball routed the visiting Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO), 17-5 in Thursday's league bout.

The Lobos (12-8) will now prepare for their bout against Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO). The Farmers go into the 4A Jeffco bout with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, Wheat Ridge was routed by Pomona (Arvada, CO), 8-5, in a league bout.

The Gators now possess a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Green Mountain for a 4A Jeffco bout on Saturday, September 30. Standley Lake will confront a Rams squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Lakewood (Lakewood, CO). The Rams record now stands at 12-7.
