Halfway Cardinals (Halfway, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Dadeville Bearcats (Dadeville, MO), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Macks Creek for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. Halfway will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Crocker (Crocker, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Dadeville falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Hermitage (Hermitage, MO) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 3-9.
