In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Apalachee Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cedar Shoals Jaguars.
The Wildcats (21-13) will now prepare for their battle against Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 24-8 record. In their last battle, Loganville achieved victory over Jefferson (Jefferson, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Jaguars encounter the North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) in a 4A Area 8 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Cedar Shoals will attempt to advance on its 0-31 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 13-24 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA).
