In Thursday's league battle, the host Banneker Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cardozo Clerks.
The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Colts come into the DCIAA battle with a 2-9 record.
Next, the Clerks clash with the Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Cardozo will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
