The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Brown Bears (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Doss Dragons (Louisville, KY), saw Brown's volleyball squad nip Doss by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Brown upgrades its record to 9-11 on the year. The Bears host Parker (Louisville, KY) to play the Wyverns in a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. The Wyverns go into the bout with a record of 3-10.

The Dragons now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Shawnee for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Doss will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Iroquois (Louisville, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-13.
