The Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) volleyball nudged the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Coalinga upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Horned Toads travel to Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA) to face the Eagles in a West Sierra outing on Monday, October 2. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 6-13. Firebaugh lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Avenal (Avenal, CA)
The Rough Riders now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Strathmore for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 28. Roosevelt will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Corcoran (Corcoran, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-9.
