The Colchester Lakers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Montpelier Solons to 1 in the Lakers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lakers now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harwood for a game on Tuesday, October 3. Colchester will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Vermont Commons (South Burlington, VT). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-6.
The Solons (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Seahorses enter the game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Burlington was dropped by Essex (Essex Junction, VT), 3-0, in a non-league game.
