Indiana High School Volleyball - Monroe Central can't hold off Connersville

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Connersville Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Monroe Central Golden Bears.

The Spartans (12-14) will now prepare for their battle against Waldron (Waldron, IN). The Mohawks come into the non-league battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Waldron was edged by Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Bears clash with the Eastbrook Panthers (Marion, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 30. Monroe Central will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Panthers enter the test with a 14-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN).
