In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Southbridge Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Doherty Memorial Highlanders.

The Pioneers (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Millbury (Millbury, MA). The Woolies come into the Southern Worcester County League battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Millbury achieved victory over Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
