The Grand Rapids Thunderhawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Marshall Hilltoppers to 0 in the Thunderhawks league victory on Thursday.

The Thunderhawks now have a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hermantown for a Lake Superior game on Tuesday, October 3. Grand Rapids will confront a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 league win over Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 12-2.

The Hilltoppers (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Northeast Range (Babbitt, MN). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Northeast Range dropped by North Woods (Cook, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
