Next up, the Royals face the Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 2. Hopkins will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN).

With the loss, St. Michael-Albertville moves to 10-4 on the year. The Knights host Wayzata (Plymouth, MN) to face the Trojans in a Lake contest on Tuesday, October 3. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 19-0. Wayzata won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN)
