The Lincoln Lions volleyball team (Lincoln, RI), went down 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI)

The Islanders (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons enter the Division 2 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Cranston West went down by Westerly (Westerly, RI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Monday, October 2. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Townies enter the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI).
