The Nevis Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves to 0 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Browerville for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. Nevis will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 12-0.

The Wolves (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Tigers enter the Northwoods game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Pine River-Backus dropped by Staples-Motley (Staples, MN), 3-2, in a non-league game.
