The Southwestern Piasa Birds volleyball team (Piasa, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL)

The Panthers (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 13-14 record. In their last challenge, Auburn was dropped by Taylorville (Taylorville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Piasa Birds meet the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) in a South Central challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Southwestern will attempt to move on its 1-20 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).
