The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) and the host Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV), saw St. Albans's volleyball squad nip Ravenswood by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, St. Albans upgrades its record to 5-9 on the year. The Red Dragons host Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to play the Redskins in a Mountain State bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Hurricane won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Ripley (Ripley, WV)

The Red Devils now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28. Ravenswood will play a Bison squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Bison record now stands at 19-2.
