New York High School Football - Bishop Grimes holds off Weedsport

The Bishop Grimes Cobras (East Syracuse, NY) football tipped the visiting Weedsport Warriors (Weedsport, NY), 18-14 in Saturday's league outing.

The Cobras now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Thousand Islands for a Section 3 8-Man - North/West (8 Man) outing on Saturday, October 5. Bishop Grimes will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 46-0 league loss to Tupper Lake (Tupper Lake, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Weedsport drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Notre Dame (Utica, NY) to play the Jugglers in a Section 3 8-Man - North/West (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 4.
