Virginia High School Football - Rye Cove smashes Castlewood

The Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA) football trounced the host Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), 55-14 in Saturday's league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee for a non-league outing on Friday, October 4. Rye Cove will clash with a Generals squad coming off a 52-0 league loss to Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Generals record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Castlewood drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Northwood (Saltville, VA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 4. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 2-2.
