Delaware High School Football - Christiana holds off Wilmington Charter

September 28, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19807

The Christiana Vikings (Newark, DE) football tipped the host Wilmington Charter Force (Wilmington, DE), 37-30 in Saturday's league outing.

The Vikings now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Polytech for a non-league outing on Friday, October 4. Christiana will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 34-19 league win over First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Wilmington Charter drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Force travel to Glasgow (Newark, DE) to clash with the Dragons in a 1A District 1 outing on Saturday, October 5. The Dragons come into the outing with a record of 0-5. Glasgow lost 34-0 in their recent league outing against St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE)
