Delaware High School Football - Delmar tops Indian River

September 28, 2024: Delmar, DE 19940

The Delmar Wildcats football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting Indian River Indians to 29 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the win, Delmar advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Lake Forest (Felton, DE) to play the Spartans in a 2A District 3 battle on Friday, October 11. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 2-3.

The Indians now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Seaford for a 1A District 2 battle on Friday, October 4. Indian River will play a Bluejays team coming off a 64-0 league win over Early College (Dover, DE). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-2.
