The East Thunderbirds football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Natrona County Mustangs to 13 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kelly Walsh for a 4A test on Friday, October 4. East will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 56-0 league loss to Sheridan (Sheridan, WY). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Natrona County drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Laramie (Laramie, WY) to meet the Plainsmen in a 4A test on Friday, October 4. The Plainsmen come into the test with a record of 1-4. Laramie lost 40-7 in their recent league test against Campbell County (Gillette, WY)
