Mississippi High School Football - Pine Belt defeated by Magnolia

September 28, 2024: Hattiesburg, MS 39401

The Magnolia Wildcats were victorious over the host Pine Belt Spartans football team by a score of 44-14 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the New Orleans Home School Saints Saints (New Orleans, LA) in a Mid-South Christian (8 Man) challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Magnolia will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 26-18 non-league loss to Heritage Christian Academy (Picayune, MS).

The Spartans (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Faith Christian HomeSchool Academy (Madison, MS). The Tornadoes enter the Mid-South Christian (8 Man) challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Faith Christian HomeSchool Academy was beaten by Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS), 49-6, in a non-league match.
