The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Noble & Greenough Bulldogs (Dedham, MA) and the host Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA), witnessed Noble & Greenough's football squad topple Thayer Academy by a count of 21-7.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. George's (Middletown, RI). The Dragons enter the Independent School ISL-9 outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, St. George's was knocked off by Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA), 36-7, in a league outing.

With the defeat, Thayer Academy drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA) to clash with the Knights in a Independent School ISL-7 outing on Saturday, October 5. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Buckingham Browne & Nichols won 35-14 in their recent league outing against Milton Academy (Milton, MA)
