The Perry County Vikings felled the host Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs football team by a score of 26-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the McKenzie Rebels (McKenzie, TN) in a 1A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Perry County will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 69-7 league win over Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN).
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN). The Tigers go into the 1A Region 4 challenge with a 4-2 record.
