Indiana High School Football - Pike Central defeated by Washington

September 28, 2024: Petersburg, IN 47567

The Washington Hatchets were victorious over the host Pike Central Chargers football team by a score of 27-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hatchets face the Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN) in a Pocket - Big School challenge, on Friday, October 4. Washington will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 28-0 league loss to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN).

The Chargers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Marksmen enter the Pocket - Small School challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Tell City lost by Southridge (Huntingburg, IN), 22-0, in a league challenge.
