Illinois High School Football - Wheeling thwarted by Prospect

Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 41-18 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Prospect improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Libertyville won 16-8 in their recent non-league battle against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL)

The Wildcats now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rolling Meadows for a battle on Saturday, October 12.
