Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) and the host West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL), saw Joliet Central's soccer squad hold off West Chicago by a count of 1-0.

The Steelmen (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack enter the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Saint Ignatius College Prep tipped Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a battle, on Saturday, October 5. West Chicago will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
