With the win, Lincoln-Way Central advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-0. Homewood-Flossmoor won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Thornwood (South Holland, IL)

The Thunderbirds now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crete-Monee for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28.
