West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Valley advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles host Yreka (Yreka, CA) to face the Miners in a test on Tuesday, October 1. The Miners go into the test with a record of 8-7. Yreka won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Burney (Burney, CA)

The Trojans now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Folsom for a test on Monday, September 30. Oak Ridge will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
