In Saturday's non-league game, the JSerra Catholic Lions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) flag football team edged the host Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA), by a tally of 15-14.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 28. JSerra Catholic will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record.
