Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN), 6-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Simley moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 7-5. Two Rivers won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN)

The Spartans now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Park for a Class A Section 3 test on Monday, September 30. Richfield will clash with a Scots team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN). The Scots record now stands at 4-6.
