The Canon City Tigers felled the visiting Harrison Panthers football team by a score of 16-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Canon City will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 16-12 non-league loss to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO).

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Rangers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Lewis-Palmer lost by Mead (Longmont, CO), 14-12, in a non-league challenge.
