The Hornets (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Canon City (Canon City, CO). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Canon City defeated Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO), 16-8, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Red-Tailed Hawks meet the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 4. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Thunder come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 18-14 non-league loss to Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO).
