The Lockport Lions got by the visiting Orchard Park Quakers football team by a score of 14-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions face the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Lockport will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
The Quakers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jamestown (Jamestown, NY). The Red & Green go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Jamestown was edged by Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East (Buffalo, NY), 14-6, in a league challenge.
