With the triumph, Lincoln-Way East advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Griffins host Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a test on Tuesday, October 8. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 7-2.

The Boilermakers now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln-Way West for a test on Tuesday, October 1. Bradley-Bourbonnais will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
