Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cuba improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM) to face the Lobos in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Lobos go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Owls now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pojoaque Valley for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Oak Grove Classical Academy will face a Elks/Elkettes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Belen (Belen, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 5-7.
