California High School Volleyball - River City Nevada Union

Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nevada Union improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Miners travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to face the Thunder in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Thunder go into the test with a record of 9-6. Rocklin lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Davis Sr. (Davis, CA)

The Raiders now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mira Loma for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. River City will face a Matadors squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 0-6.
