In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Indian River Indians soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Archmere Academy Auks.
The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Seahawks go into the Henlopen South outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Sussex Academy got by Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Auks play the St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 1. Archmere Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
