In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Chino Valley Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Ash Fork Spartans.

The Cougars (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ). The HORNETS go into the outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Highland Prep West was overwhelmed by The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Camp Verde Cowboys (Camp Verde, AZ) in a 2A - North outing, on Tuesday, October 1. Ash Fork will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Cowboys go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ).
