Elmira Express (Elmira, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Elmira moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Express travel to Vestal (Vestal, NY) to clash with the Golden Bears in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference (STAC) test on Monday, September 30. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 1-3. Vestal lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Ithaca (Ithaca, NY)

The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamsport for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5.
