De Smet Jesuit Spartans (St. Louis, MO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs (St. Peters, MO), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, De Smet Jesuit moves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 11-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Rockwood Summit for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28.
