Maine High School Soccer - Gray-New Gloucester knocks off Lake Region

In Saturday's league outing, the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Lake Region Lakers.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Capers go into the Class B - South outing with a 5-1 record.
Next up, the Lakers confront the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) in a Class B - South outing, on Monday, September 30. Lake Region will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Rangers go into the outing with a 7-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Poland (Poland, NY).
