In Saturday's non-league contest, the Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA) soccer team routed the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), by a tally of 6-1.

With the triumph, Montgomery advances its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a Mid-Penn D4 test on Tuesday, October 1. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 3-9. South Williamsport lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Benton (Benton, PA)

The Indians now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Loyalsock Township for a PIAA District IV-AA test on Monday, September 30. Shamokin Area will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 1-1 non-league Northumberland Christian (Northumberland, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-4.
