The Yutan-Mead Patriots softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Arlington Eagles to 5 in the Patriots non-league win on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ralston for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. Yutan-Mead will encounter a Rams team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE). The Rams record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Arlington moves to 12-14 on the season. The Eagles host Wahoo (Wahoo, NE) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 11-12. Wahoo lost 11-2 in their recent league battle against Norris (Firth, NE)
